That's a sweet cam for content production, but doesn't give you "outstanding" results in my opinion. We used to shoot with the Sony HVR Z1 which is in the same price range as the Panasonic and it's comparable when in comes to quality. Check out this trailer shot with Z1:

About six months ago we upgraded to the JVC GY-HD201 (http://www.pbs-video.com/gy-hd201e-p...ml?language=us) and loving it ever since. Pretty much all our clients were blown away by the results. Progressive HDV is the way to go in my opinion. See trailer here:
