How sad for you, and a burden that shouldn't be yours to carry.
Before you jump in, it's always good to go into a confrontation after thinking hard about three things: 1) the goals you hope to achieve by confronting; 2) how you will confront (face-to-face, phone, email, etc.); and 3) how the person might react.
Afterall, your Father might already know .. My 1st Husband knew I had a lover. He offered to keep the marraige "status quo" rather than divorce.
The only reason I would address the issue w/ Mom, is to make sure she isn't fucking w/o the right precautions.
