I agree with most of that .. This is why overselling host are awfull .. what amazes me is that they manage to convert an unsastified client into a dedicated client ( still unsastified ).
But lets leave the hosting business aside for a while ... and get into the restaurant business....
We all know that some places offer ' all you can eat ' food.... Now are they all shit? No. The ones charging the low dollars end up serving shit and very little of it. You have to wait in line to get finally nothing. Then there are a few places that charge more, have more food ( ressources ) and will replenish as required ( upgrade their servers ) .... but it is still a buffet.
You can always go to a restaurant and order ' a la carte ' ... Great.
But don't go to a McDonald ( that is a budget dedicated ) and expect the value of either a quality virtual or decent dedicated ....
BTW, I recsheduled the install of script of my client for next wednesday at 3:00 PM. It cost him 50.00 tonight for nothing ....
