That was pretty cool.

So yeah, I have been gone a while and that means my frog hasn't eaten in a few weeks. Last night I noticed that he was digging himself into the gravel, most likely for warmth.

Anyway, was taking Buddy for a walk and happened to pass by the pet shop, so we ran across the street to get a mouse for the poor guy.

When I brought it to him, he was completely buried in the gravel, with just a hint of his back showing, pretty well camouflaged with the gravel. The mouse obviously did not see him.

Poor mouse.

As soon as he wandered over by the frog he bolted out from under the gravel, all mouth. Reminded me of the shark in Jaws.

Mouse never stood a chance. Five gulps and he was history.

I really wish I had been taping it, it was very cool . . . you would have loved it.
