Beginning to wonder whose really been in this realm before. $4 Mil is a number, but its still chump change in the heavy hitter world and totally in the land of "Oh Shit" where something you didn't plan on can whack your mils right out from under you. If you don't believe that you've never had this kind of money before.
"Oh Shit" land is a scary place. You now have some mils, but you want to go from 7 figs to 8 figs, because the power rush is more exciting as you notch up. To do it you have to still play the game. The chips and risks get much bigger now. You think everything you touch will now turn to gold like it always has that got you there. But when you get an "Oh Shit" and it can be anything like a divorce, a business calamity, an industry revolution, like when the Net came along, my 900 adult investment returns were no longer spectacular like before where you could make 5 to 1 on your money every month, shit like this, like in a casino you force yourself to keep playing thinking I'm going to hit and get it back, which most times you do, cause money guys tend to be lucky, but nevertheless it gives you anxiety.
The hardest part in the mil league is finding good investments. For some reason a lot of stuff in this sector is full of scam promoters. You get prospectuses on your desk like mad and they all sound and look like huge moneymakers, but more often than not a lot of hot air and mirrors is in these deals and its very easy to get ass fucked before you know what happened.
I know guys who after a many mils in the bank have overheads approaching 6 figs a month, mostly due to showpiece high maintainence wives (LOL) who spend spend spend. The worst mine ever got to was just under $50K a month, and that's cause I had an atrocious live in girlfriend who became spoiled rotten and was burning through charges on my AMEX card like it was water. So $4 Mil really won't sustain that long even with investment income on it, if you live the way most guys in this range do with expensive women in their lives.
Good luck whichever way you decide Quiet.
