Relationship with Turkey to stay good or not, it is like Ahmadinejad claiming the Jewish genocide did not take place.
It is plain wrong not to acknowledge it happened and an embarrassment that the Bush government is rejecting it just to "save a relationship" in order to (ab)use Turkey as a deployment place for their (and this is where I think you were right...) WAR OF TERROR.
I really hope the resolution goes all the way through, and if it does and the US/Turkish relationship does indeed goes bad - well, we should pull out of Iraq anyways so maybe it even speeds up the process if Turkey throws us out. That would be a good thing IMHO.
