I am helping someone remotely here
and by remotely means in another country, and she is a girl, again meaning, SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS please if you could
sorry, couldn't resist that one, do not judge me

but i'd not trust a girl with my computer
anyways, she has an old computer, her normal shitty CRT monitor went bust,
replaced it with this wonderful monitor in the subject line,
now she connects it, i assume she does that correctly and since her PC is old i assume using only the Analog connection option
and all she gets when she does that when windows is starting to load this message:
"Video mode not supported"
Is she lacking a driver that needs to be installed using her old monitor first ?
Does she need a special new graphics card ? She cannot use the old one even to display a low resolution or shitty quality picture ? as right now she is getting nothing and i have no idea what graphic card she is using, i am just assuming OLD
Or can she just click the SOURCE button in the screen and it will work ?
Help will be appreciated, if u help her out, i will post some photos of her for you guys
