For anyone that has been asking about Mutual funds
Add info as this thread goes
I saw a few posts a few weeks back about people asking about Mutual funds.
As we all know, investing is something for our future, and something that we should all do. Putting all the money in one place has never been a good idea. Spreading it is best. Buy some property, buy some stocks, and buy mutual funds. Hell, even a CD in your bank is nice for a fast guaranteed loan.
The mutual funds that I have been in the the last 2 quarters have been
JPM International Equity Fund ( this is a foreign Large blend ) and also Brown Cap Mgmt ( this is small growth )
JPM has done 11.04% for me over the last 2 quarters.
Brown has done 18.66% for the same period.
In program I am in, I can move money between about 175 different funds for either free, or a very low set fee. It is something I got into years ago. The company that does this for me is Nationwide and I believe that they are owned by metlife.
Just some info to help anyone out that is interested.
If you have some good info to add, please do.
