I'm slowly teaching myself how to animate in 2d for music videos and cartoons etc. What software do you use? Whats your method?

I've tried:

Adobe Flash
Toon Boom Studio
Anime Studio
Digicel Flipbook

All of them have their benefits... are there any more I should know about?
