currently, boxers are superior athletes BUT as the money in MMA gets bigger you're going to see a much higher quality athlete going into it rather than boxing. money will lead them to MMA rather than boxing.

as far as which sport requires more athleticism - don't know enough about MMA to make a judgement. just that boxing has always been a big time sport for some of the best Latinos and black athletes - even with the heavyweight division being a write off.
