I would hate to see the amount of luxury tax they are going to have to pay in 2007 after paying 26 million in 2006. $97.75 million over the last four years is what NY has had to pay in Luxury tax. The Yankees have paid tax in all four seasons since the just-expired collective-bargaining agreement: $11.8 million in 2003, $26 million in 2004 and $34 million for last year.
