These kids are 9yo, 10yo, for Christ sakes let them live life without the burden of that knowledge. At least until they are older.

I'm not saying keep them ignorant, but why in gods name would you teach a young impressionable child that "people are different"? It seems insane to me!

People are different.
Black people were treated badly.

Your children are being taught about the reality of the world we live in. Get over it.
