It makes for a cute story, but they didn't have anything to worry about. No bank was going to let someone walk in and cash a quarter million in checks without a few supporting documents to say the least.
It is nice to see Pavlik getting a ton of press, though. He is 25 and is only going to get better and better, providing he doesn't solely rely on his punching power and sharpens up his boxing skills and defense a bit. Making every fight a war will endear you to fans, but will age you in a hurry...
