Upon looking at their schedule, let's see... they lost to Detroit and to Denver. They beat two relatively weak teams in Cleveland and Miam, so the real test is yet to come. The rest of their schedule looks fairly cushy aside from a few games in December. If they can put up enough wins between now and then they'll be doing well.
If I were a Raider fan I would take it one week at a time. If they look good against SD next week and destroy them I'll come back here and post something more positive about them.

I'm a Kansas City fan.
Beating weak teams, particularly in grandiose fashion, is more than a ray of hope. Its an indicator. Doesn't Oakland play SD soon? Do you still buy that stock? I said before the season started that SD was overrated. I actually pegged Denver to win the division, but seeing Oakland play like they are, I feel good about them.
Did you watch the running back for Oakland? Isn't Vargas the backup? He was mutilating defensive backs. He was running like Earl Cambell. Culpepper was outstanding. Oakland probably has the best defensive coordinator in the game right now, all things considered.
I hope that KC comes through and knocks them out, but right now, I go with Oakland in the West.
