I make a lot of money from my 9-5 job so i just maintain some stuff that i did in the past.
Regarding whores thats a different issue. A lot of the income here comes from tourists and business visitors. If you want them to keep coming back then you need to provide full service

By the way ... a lot of the locals are some of the coolest people you are ever likely to meet. They party harder than anyone you know ... especially the younger crowd. However they still try to respect some of the traditions and restrictions that have to be in place in a Muslim country.
My guess is that in places like Dubai things will change dramatically in 1-2 generations and get rid of a lot more of the restrictions that come from being a muslim country. There is even talk of casinos opening up here. Dubai holdings recently bought 8-10 percent of MGM casinos.
