you don't even need to put your name on the list, when a telemarkter calls, just interupt them nicely and say what i just said, they will thank you for your time and remove you... but if you act like a jackass, chances are most telemarketers (alot don't care about you) will just put you in as a call back for 15 minutes, causing someone ELSE to call you...

Not true at all. After you are placed on the list, you have 31 days to expect calls to continue, if any calls come after the 31 days is over, you can report that company to donotcall.gov
You do not have to tell the company to stop calling you, if they call you, you can report them without any contact to them, you just need to know the # and the name of the company who is calling you.
