Peaches spend the extra and get one or two of those large 3 day or so ice coolers. Then stock up on a few of the reusable blue freezer bricks.
It is how I shop when I go anywhere with frozen or cold food. Not to mention the butcher and the seafood monger.
Yes I am one of those crazy people that will go through the store putting things inside of my cooler. I even have a collapsable dolley in the event that the store has stupid standard baskets. On the dolley is also several canvas sacks for dry goods and the like. Again reusable and they get you anywhere from .05 to .25 per bag discounts at almost all stores.
Funny part is I do not even live that far from most of my shopping locations. Though it has paid off more than once when I got rushed or idle brained when I got home and forgot the groceries. They were still frozen and or cold the very next day.
Ok long post to just say it is much cheaper than dry ice
