this is what i was thinking also, i have heard some goods go up slightly but nothing to the effect of where us international webmasters are basically losing 20%+, but then again i currently dont live the USA so i could be wrong.
i am still debating on whether to move to the USA or not this year. it has gone in and out of my head now for a couple of years, and with the dollar dropping it would be the smartest thing to do financially for me.
