I need some feedback on some hosting issues.
Hypotheticals:
1. You run a cgi script on your site that creates a file that is chmod 666 but you can't delete it or even downoad it when logged in thru FTP. Shit or just different?
2. should I try to fix this in the script by doing dangerous stuff like running the script as setgid? (which I ain't gonna do, no matter what you say
)
I got cheap cheap cheap mainstream host to run scripts on to try and find all issues that people might have on their servers and I could not get even one of the problems that people are having on adult hosting.
