This subject always reminds me of a Seinfeld episode where Jerry explains that the career of a Hollywood Actress starts with an audtion followed by years of rejection before she is finally spit out the bottom of the porn industry.
There are so many reason why a girl ends up doing hardcore. Desperation, drugs, bad advice, bad influences, lack of self esteem to name a few. It's a shame when someone has to do something they normally wouldn't when they have no other choice.
On the other hand some girls do have a choice. They have thought it through and have made a conscious decision based on all the possible out comes and it's OK for them. I see nothing wrong with that.
I don't know Melissa but I'd be willing to bet she knows EXACTLY what she's doing and for her it's mostly or all a business move. Nobody knows what her fan base wants better than her. I think it's a great business model to continually push the limits to create new interest. The key is to set the pace and have a plan B when you've peaked.
