I'm surprised. We had a MAJOR peach loss here where I live (North GA) due to a late freeze in April. Most of the orchards had zero peaches
Apples are in now though. Made my first pie of the year last night.
Once you eat an apple off a tree the ones in the market taste like wax. Ditto with the peaches - just didn't get any this year
