Precisely what I was thinking. Do they mean daily sex with the same partner? weekly sex with the same partner? Monthly sex with whoever is cheapest?

The interviewed around 1000 people. I assume this was in a large city, perhaps at a college, perhaps at a couple of IT companies...etc. It's not enough people.
If they interviewed 1000 farmers, about 90% would say they couldn't care less about the internet...
Point is, they don't note the demographics and occupation of the very small group of people they interviewed.
