NBC apparently is putting stuff online, but in a format that doesn't allow fast forwarding and has the commercials embedded. So just like broadcast TV, you have to sit from NOW to THEN and watch everything in the middle. I think this is probably a pretty effective way to do things.
They are being smart enough to know that without someone to pay the freight, the idea will fail.
