I am not a fan of him, but you cannot argue with results. No league losses at Stamford Bridge in 60 goes, two titles, 2 FA Cups, etc.
He didn't want Scheva and Ballack and the moment he wasn't in full control of the footballing affairs it was obvious he wouldn't see out his contract. Grant's move this summer further undermined his position.
It will be interesting to see what happens now, maybe a new manager, with new systems and coaching staff can breathe some fresh air into the team. Maybe not. Man U this weekend isn't the easiest entry point! :P
