I am in the deep south, the humidity and heat is unbearable for them during parts of summer here.
we have days where it is 100 degrees with 80% humidity. it only takes a day or so for them to start the dying process, and stunts the growth. The plants are alive but not growing or producing fruit. its that hot.
Its starting to cool off, but the heat is still unbearable for most plants. The South has some brutal summers.
we will try again next season
