Some themes don't work with 1.5
Best to update.
You can install that export plugin to download the database to your PC and then update.
If it screws up, you just import your old database from your pc after you get the newest version installed.
The newest version has an import and export function, but you will need the old plug in to export your DB to your computer if you are running 1.5
