I think RogerV has a better case that GFY made Pimpdog successfull than he did because he put him in touch with someone to loan Trey the money.
How much money was loaned ? If it was 100K + yeah I would think that Roger played apart in Trey's start. You not going to find very many people out there willing to shell out big bucks for people they don't know and are unproven to start porn sites. If it was a smaller amount of money, 10 - 20K etc than chances are Trey would have made the money himself or found someone else.
If you are trying to say that you are responsible for his success because you hooked him up with his investor, I thnk that is stupid. If it was a large amount of money I think the most you could claim is that you helped him get started by putting him in touch with the right person. Regardless, however someone got the cash to get started, that has nothing to do with their "success". 18 out of 20 people handed money to start with will fail.
