What surprises me is that in the online world we all pretty well accept our losses, but in the brick and mortar world we would be calling the police against a company that stole from us.
Theft is theft, be it robbing a store, mugging someone on the street or scamming them out of something. Yet online, especiall adult we tend to just call them out on the boards instead of going after them legally. From my understanding she had a lot of customers in Europe etc. that did not care if they had 2257 documentation and she sold them a lot of content. When you count up all of the poeple she either sold content to and didn't deliver or sold content she didn't have a right to sell, the amount of dollars she defrauded individuals and content companies is a pretty large sum of money....and yet, the worst thing to have happen to her it seems is that people call her a bitch and a whore. It just doesn't make any sense.
