What's so funny and 'revealing' about the homophobic posters is a basic Psych 101 understanding of the situation. Many shrinks attribute harsh reactions to gays (and the 'idea of gay sex') as a compensatory or definsive motion within the psyche, to shield the homophobe from their own homosex longings or curiousities.

You are partially right there... But dont forget those who are just haters...
Think about those who hate blacks, women... Hating makes them feel superior... and somethimes... while doing it...they can even get a laugh or 2 out of it from fellow haters.... makes it tempting....
