Everyone bashing the FSC should chill a little IMO. Without them the govt would STEAM ROLL OVER US. Who would have fought 2257 over the last couple years ? What you think, we would have all come together and fought against it LOL. yeah right. The govt would have passed 100% of what they were trying to do and then some with out the FSC there to battle them every step of the way.

With that said, I wish the FSC would stick to just obscenity type issues. Obscenity is a 1st admendment issue and something that will have the backing of 100% of the industry. It is exactly what they specialize in.

You think that we could agree on dot xxx but even with that some in the industry were "making deals" and trying to support it. I wish that list would be released btw. I remember hearing that some members of the FSC were offered a % from the dot xxx assholes for their support and this was even considered. Not everyone agrees on piracy issues. Ask Lars how he feels about it, and why he sends millions to the sites that rip all of you off.

For the FSC to get involved in other issues I think it is a waste of time and conflict of interest, and will eventually mess things up beyond repair. If they get into anti piracy work and then accept donations from AFF you will have a lot of people stop supporting the FSC which in turn hurts us all when it comes to the shit they should be focusing 100% on which is Obscenity issues like 2257.

I appreciate their interest in these other issues (whether their intentions are money motivated or not) but I think it is bad for everyone if they try to become the legal consul for the adult industry instead of the FSC that tries to protect our rights of free speach.

If they focused on just obscenity, communicated a little better, and was transparent with their spending I don't think anyone here would have 1 bad thing to say about them.
