Two sisters have been visiting their mother's dead body every weekend for ten years, as she is legally stored in a refrigeration unit at a funeral home. Bodies can be stored until funeral arrangements are made.
However, the sisters, Valmai and Josephine Lamas, have been unable to bring themselves to arrange Annie Lamas's funeral since she died ten years ago and instead visit what are now the skeletal remains of their mother.
They also apply make up to the corpse, as there is still a stretched layer of skin on the head and torso. A relative told the press their story, in the hope to push the sisters into coping with their mother's death and properly disposing of the body.
