Hey Chris,
You are right. At this very point in time there is absolutely no revenue model on the site. We might pop up some limited stuff over the next weeks, but our main focus is
community building right now, and we have more stuff coming over the next 6 months. So the short answer, yes, this site is only producing me bills to pay at the moment. Also, registration is FREE (its like a youtube account, you get some more features, not like you gotta pay there). I am not sure if that is obvious enough right now.
