Diego, it was too obvious. The AFF $10,000 offer was press released, and then 15 days later the board meets and suddenly FSC wants to "get in front" on the piracy issue.
AFF essentially has tried to buy off the two industry groups that could cause it the most problems, piracy and CP. Sadly, the people over at ASACP apparently are more than happy to take the check and turn a blind eye to all the AFF ads running next to the CP torrents. IMHO, Lars tried the most brass balls move ever made against the adult industry, trying to turn groups that suppose to represent porn people against them, typing shit up in knots for years.
The new anti-piracy group is probably Lars worst nightmare. We aren't just talking torrents and tube sites here, but the hundreds and thousands of fake profiles that litter AFF, as well as the use of pornstar and amateur models images in what could be considered misleading and unlicensed manners.
I'm just waiting for Andrew Conru to show up and say "I have no idea this was going on".
