Probably a waste of money actually.
I don't think trademarks are retro-active.
I don't think a newly registered trademark for "Hoo.com" would have a case against "yahoo.com" or "anyHoo.com". If I'm wrong then that's truly fucked up. How do you infringe on something that you actually thought of first?
