yeah, its funny that these days lot of people who has knowledge of basic editing called themselves a video editor, including myself. only few people here had formal studies about video editing. they may not know what a-b roll, cg or white balance means but you have to admit they can get the job done like professionals. i started editing porn 3yrs. ago, i experienced editing from softcore-to-hardcore, gays-to-grannies (yaaikks). Edited almost hundreds of porn trailers already. i never had a formal studies but i think whats important in adult video editing is you know what the client exactly wants you to do and you're able to deliver a good job for him.
so forget about asking whether they know what chroma keying, rotoscoping or whatsoever video editing terms you're saying coz i think some of them might have more experiences than any other professional video editor when it comes to adult video editing.
