Just curious how you guys who get a lot of custom scripting/programming done (inhouse or third-party) do it.

How do you derive at a price for it? What's the industry average cost on a per hour basis for scripting? Granted some programmers are better than others but I wouldn't know and wouldn't care if a script sucked as long as it gave the right output.

I know it's hard to answer but give me an idea how you arrange those types of projects.
