The title should say antiques, but I can't spell
This woman that works at a store I go to regularly was talking to me the other day and told me about something she has that I think could be pretty valuable. She is in her 70's and her husband was in the army during WW2 and worked as a communications officer. He was on duty when they got the telegram that was sent out to the heads of the armed services announcing the cease fire and the end of the war. Supposedly there were only 7 or 8 of these telegrams actually sent out and he has one.
It is certainly a part of American history. I wonder if anyone knows of a good place to get an idea of what it might be worth. They don't really want to sell it, but if it is valuable they want to insure it.
Any ideas?
Thanks
