Hey numbnuts, this is Vancouver we're talking about. If you don't pay high rent, then you're living in a SHITHOLE while you save up the 25k you need for a downpayment on a tiny ass shithole 300 sq foot box in Yaletown that you'll pay 1700 a month mortgage on. Yeah I know it's better to have equity, but how is someone supposed to save up enough to buy in this shit town?
