I think everyone on here knows I'm not at all sensitive about gay humor, I think I do a pretty good job ridiculing gay homosexuals myself as a matter of fact.
The problem is having celebrities use such language, especially at a time when gay rights are such a huge issue on the political stage.
Having public figures using remarks like that makes it "OK" in the minds of the masses, and can help to perpetuate bigotry.
GLAAD is all over him now, it's going to get bad unless some serious damage control is done and done quickly:

This could EASILY lead to television stations refusing to carry the telethon next year, and I'd hate to see that happen.
He needs to make things right.
