I have a 52" Panasonic RP LCD, its almost a year old now. I'm not very happy with the blacks, so when watching darker movies its not the greatest. For video games and vibrant movies its brilliant though. LCD's have come a long way in the last little while, contrast ratios of 10,000:1 and great black levels have put its black almost on par with plasma. I would opt for a LCD either Sharp or Samsung. Plasmas are still overpriced.
