I wasn't going to post in this thread, but after you needlessly dragged CyberXXX and Jace into this, I have to, if only because you've lied about both of them, and out of respect for the offended parties, I'll defend them.

A fair warning: I'm going to post this, and then I am not going to post again in this thread.

The user who created this thread messaged me about a week ago, with a very shady message about how he was planning to make some copies of the Feed Pushers software, and didn't want to run afoul of anything we had going on. I told him specifically that I wouldn't pursue what he did, because he came to me first, and I appreciated it. He then started blathering about patents, about copying us, etc. I told him I wasn't worried, he could go about his business, and I wouldn't bother him or his clients.

I then got a message from CyberXXX, offering to work together on a couple of projects. In the course of that message, CyberXXX and I came to terms on a way to work together with Feed Pushers and his product, TheSponsorFeeds. He even added a very large ad for Feed Pushers to his page, which I thanked him for. Currently, we're engaged on another project that should turn some heads.

Jace's involvement in Feed Pushers is also a valuable one. His advice and expertise in feeds has been great, and I'm glad to have him on board.

I am not involved with Relink Software in any direct way anymore. Yes, I coded Autoblogger Pro Stand Alone, but I have a number of other projects, and don't plan to release another version myself. Chio, however, plans to release more features, and I support him like I support everything he's done.

Dragging CyberXXX and Jace through the mud with, as clear as I can tell, a mass of hysteria created and support by no one other than the original poster is beyond bizarre. The usual suspects have said their piece, and that's fine.

As to the patent conversation on ICQ. I was asked to reveal patent numbers and pending technologies to a third party. Prior to this conversation, he asked to partner with us on Feed Pushers. Because he couldn't type outside of 1337 5p34k, I told him I was unable to work with him. The next time I spoke to the company, they ICQ'd me again, this time about being worried that their copy of Feed Pushers would get them into legal trouble. They asked for my help researching patents. I told them, politely I might add, that they could feel free to engage a patent attorney or other intellectual property expert to perform their research, and that I wasn't going to spend any time on it. Again, I reiterated to them that I would not pursue them, should they create a product that swapped images, which is what they proposed.

Next, they asked if I'd be willing to create a copy of CyberXXX's CyberSEO plug-in. I declined, stating that I don't rip off people's software.

I offered them that I would sign a document, if they had it prepared, guaranteeing that I wouldn't cause trouble for them if they did something with rotating images. This clearly wasn't good enough for them, hence this thread.

As to giving them access to any patents, I have declined their fishing expedition, and I feel I have good reason. My attorney, who specializes in IP/VC, is the official patent holder on my behalf, of all but one of my technology patents. Some of these patents are in the "proof of concept" stage, and have not been monetized. To give someone access to that individual's name, especially someone who has shown a propensity for drama and copying ideas, would be absurd. I'm sure anyone rational would agree. I can't do much more than offer them what I already have, and again, I think rational people will agree that I've gone above and beyond.

As to the CyberXXX issue. He and I had a long-standing battle, yes, since 2003, and we've made up both publicly and privately. For the original poster to insinuate there's a problem between us is both disingenuous and hurtful to all parties. He neither "signed" anything over to me, or was pressured at any time to do so. We are working together by choice on other projects, and have worked out an agreement where he will share in some of the revenue from specific Feed Pushers projects. If he has or had an issue, I'm sure he'd come to me directly and not make up some fantasy thread like this.

I'm going to let this thread die, if it becomes a playground, so be it. I've given my reasoning and responses, and if there's a problem with any of it, feel free to ICQ me.

The original poster, who is clearly feeling scorned for being out of the loop, has already been blocked from Jace's ICQ due to similar lunacy and drama. To the best of my knowledge, he's gone "rogue" on this one, and doesn't speak for me, Jace, CyberXXX, or anyone else.

That is all, carry on.
