Actually, I prefer the Dutch system over the US system. I don't trust juries to be entirely fair.

As for the Chinese system... it's tilted in favour of the government. That is to say, those legally opposing actions of the government have next to no chance of winning, while those the government wants convicted will get convicted.

Also, remember that the legal system should make sure people are actually guilty. This very fact tilts a good legal system in favour of criminals - if there is even a small chance that they aren't guilty, they should go free. Otherwise, innocent people will get convicted.
