Best price for this very basic dedicated plan?
My partner and I have had several dedicated servers at one company for something like seven years, now. We're very happy there, but the company doesn't really deal with small packages and I am looking to set up another server independent of my current account with that host.
I'm looking for something along these lines:
2.4Ghz+ processor, 1 gig of RAM minimum (2 gigs preferred), 200ish gigs hard drive space, preferably RAID but that's not 100% necessary. I prefer CentOS but will use other flavors of *nix. Right now, the sustained bandwidth over the course of a month would be small, but I would expect temporary bursts to 5+Mbps.
I require very little support as long as the box doesn't go unreachable. I will install my own control panel and do not need any fancy front ends on the server. I manage my own Apache install, my own DNS and MX records (I would like to be able to use yours as secondary), my own mail server daemons, and so on. I do not need script install support, I do not need *nix lessons. I do not need help installing or using PHP, MySQL, PERL, etc.
Basically, you'll almost never hear from me as long as the server is up and running. I am very low-maintenance.
Spam me with deals for a setup like the one above. I prefer companies that have been around a while but I am certainly willing to try someone new if you're offering an exceptional deal.
Thanks.
