Here is ONE way that you know if this can work...
Early on, take her on a date to like a cafe or a coffee place, then followed up with something like a nice cruise thru the country side, or a walk somewhere really fly.
Talking on a broad range of topics and the like is a great way to know the person a little more than just looks and the good behavior we have for the date night.
Everyone is on their best behavior for the first 6 months anyway, so, this can take time overall, but, if they stick with you no matter what obstacles are tossed in your path, thats a great way to know whats up. If they bail on you fast, then you know also, whats up.
Committing to someone is when you place their needs above your own at times. Doing little things and being there for each other NO MATTER WHAT.
As I tell my wife, its us against the world, no matter what we can make it cause we have each other's love. With that, you can do anything.
