Yes, apparently it's this raging sort of cervical cancer that sometimes turns into facial tumors. I suppose it can be deadly after a while.
It can't however happen to humans, you're probably thinking human papiloma virus, which is thought to transmit mutations. But these, they don't have a virus pathogen agent, the cancer cells themselves do the infecting.
