The only peice of advice that i would like to pffer is this:
In light of the fact that over 5- 3PP / TransactionProcessors have gone under in the last 3-years i would like to suggest that you simply diversify your risk.
With no warning what so ever , payment processors (MVC,IBILL,ETC) Have disappered over night taking many hard working Web-Masters money / Data-Basses with them.
The best way , in my oppinion , to diversify this sort of risk is to have more then one On-Line Transaction Processor Available for the End User to choose from.
You may find that as much as 1/3 avg of your new members will choose the secoundry processor.
Of course there is always the Cascade system , however, the methood that i suggest will be cheaper.
I have several relationships with a handfull / Merchant Account Providers of 3pp's on a global level. If you require any assistance feel free to contact me. I will assist you free of charge as i receive a commision from the 3pp. Negotiate a discount rate , possible lower reserve, i can also help you get a 1% fee rate reduction with a very reputable ACH (On-Line Check processor).

I am trying to start a business that will place me in a position as a Laision between Web-Site owners and there 3pp's. I have read thred after thred about some poor hard working web-master being brushed off by there 3pp sales rep because they processes $3k per month. Being left on hold for hours , false promisses , lie's, abuse, etc...when all they want is to get paid what they are owed , what they worked for until all hours of the night. The rep wont give a site owner the time of day because they dont processes over $100k per month. I would like to have a big enough portfolio so that when a site owner has a problem and calls me, i inturn call the 3pp and the cite-owner goes back to work and when i call the 3pp the rep answers the phone and the problem is fixed in a couple of hours, the site-owners is happy and i can do this at NO CHARGE TO THE SITE OWNER. I do this for about 40-clients currently and things are going well. I would like to do this at a larger level.... Any feed back from GFY Members would be greatly appreciated. My idea is on a make-shift site

I would keep the service free as there is a referal program with many 3pp's as well as merchant banks. I have been in the 3PP Biz for 5-years so it would be hard for these companys to bullshit me. Wouldnt it be great if the Adult Market had a sort of Union , if the portfolio were large enough we could pretty much get our fee's reduced , reserves lowered for less time , we could move things
If i receive a good deal of positive feed back i could possibily raise some capitol and put a crew together that would be at Web-Masters / Site-Owners disposal on a global level. AND WE COULD DO THIS FOR YOU FOR FREE.
