I used Nikon and Fuji before this camera. I was looking for a new camera and the one I was going to get was more expensive then the Canon that came with a lens. Really the only reason I never tried Canon before was because I didn't want to have to go out and buy all new lenses. Since this came with the lens (even though the lens sucks) I decided to finally try a Canon. So far I am glad I did.
