Not at all - they are two totally different things.
The Exotic Erotic Ball is a public event, whereas the Players Ball (if that is what you are referring to) is a private event, primarily for webmasters and their guests.
Personally, I generally have more fun at the Players Ball, because I'm not working...(I have mad respect for D$ and what it takes to pull off his parties that thousands enjoy for free)!!!
