my condolenses, i've been there, watching your parent's last moments on earth is a surreal experience, you know it's happening but you've only seen it before in movies but there you are and it's real life and you want life to go into reverse or wake up to realize it's a bad dream but it won't happen.

being there with her holding her hand really was a wonderful thing for you and her, probably the most important thing you have ever done. parents are there for us when we come into the world, the natural progression of life being what it is we should be there for them when it's their time to go, if possible of course. families get so spread out across a country and the world these days that i think a lot of people don't get to do what you did.

may she rest in peace.
