I'm sorry but your wrong, 1st off, did you make the image that was posted? if not how can you assume exactly what program/s were used to create the image?
It is true that SOME of the 3D porn sites out there slap shit together and call it a day, but ANY program currently on the market CAN and DO produce the same result as posted here IF the renderer takes the time with the images, renders at higher rez, and knows how to utilize virtual lighting, shadows, and various other effects.
and last but not least POSTWORK, 90% of the "amazing high end blow your socks off" 3D art is nothing more then postworked images that were made using poser, bryce, lightwave, 3Dmax etc etc.
in 2000 it took me about 20 mins to bang out 30 images and it really showed, but then again we were nowhere near the power of the rendering software we are at now. Now adays 1 image takes just under 30 mins to fully render and postwork.
SOME of us actually do take the time to make our content look like it could/should look.
